SERVICE LEARNING project - OSHA 10
During the week of April 24, 2023, students at YESPhilly Accelerated High School participated in the OSHA-10 Hands-On Experience. This training also satisfies a graduation pathway requirement; part of ACT 158.

Intro to Framing
Once students fulfill their 10 service-learning hours, they will receive a certificate of completion following project completion. Our scholars did a great job, and a special thanks to Ms. Lena (Transitions Coordinator).
Awards / Trips
In April of 2023, students in Mr. S’ mentee group won a trip to Round 1 Amusement and Bowling in the Fashion District.
Students have the opportunity to receive YESAwards for student excellency. Teachers provide students with award tickets focused around attitude, effort, dedication, timeliness, and leadership. At the end of the week, an award ticket is pulled out of the YESAward box and the winner is presented with a $100 gift card!
We also provide attendance incentives for students that arrive to school early.

MEET GABBI
Gabrielle is a star student who actively participates in YESPhilly’s Student Leadership Team. As part of Student Leadership, she’s helped plan 2022 prom logistics, YESPhilly’s school store, and other school operations.
