The arts help me to stay focused and excited!
— -Salina T.
The teachers at YESPhilly are really different. They care. They treat you like you’re their child. When you feel as if you are going to fail, they don’t let you fail. They’re not like a teacher that’s going to push you aside and let you be the failure. YESPhilly teachers will pick you back up and help you strive.
— Amir E.
My experience at YESPhilly, at first it was shaky, and I turned myself around. My plans after YESPhilly, I plan on going to college.

Before YESPhilly, I had no aspirations, no one was in my corner, and I was selling drugs with two kids on the way. I felt like nothing was right. During my first cycle at YESPhilly, I made the honor roll. I had never been on honor roll before. YESPhilly is more than just a school. It is a place where we can learn to survive.”
