meet tye

Mr. Tye, or Mr. “V.,” has been at YESPhilly for the past three years and is a graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Secondary Education with a concentration in English. In addition to teaching English at YESPhilly, Mr. Tye is also in charge of YESPhilly’s online curriculum platform, Summit Learning. Outside of school, Mr. Tye is a musician and an avid movie buff. One of his favorite films is Dead Poets Society starring Robin Williams, as he always strives to instill that his students seize the day and “make your lives extraordinary.”
