Join YESPhilly Board of Directors
If you are looking for an opportunity to give back and get involved in Philadelphia, YESPhilly is currently looking to fill volunteer positions on our Board of Directors.
We are particularly interested in applicants who have perspective on the challenges facing Philadelphia youth, skills to keep our organization on track, as well as a network to help YESPhilly strengthen our base of support.
Our Board members are expected to…
Attend at least 5 board meetings annually and our yearly board retreat.
Make a commitment to one or more committee functions.
Make an annual financial contribution at the end of each fiscal year.
Participate in driving fundraising efforts.
Utilize personal and professional networks to strengthen our organization
Our Process
The Board of Directors will review all applications.
Our selection process includes a brief tour of YESPhilly, a meeting with the Executive Director, Gary Paprocki, and a meeting with at least one Board member to determine whether there is a good fit. Following these meetings, selected applicants will be invited to join the board at the next scheduled meeting.
